Physical security in the form of patrols who walk the floor of the casino can be seen, and these personnel often respond to assistance calls and criminal reports on the premises and work hand in hand with local police. The crime rates surrounding casinos is astounding, as so much is done to avoid criminal activity. There are studies however, that state there is not a positive relationship between casinos and other crime.
