Full Tilt Brings Back FTOPS
From now until the 21st of November, there will be a return of Full Tilt Online Poker Series with FTOPS XVIII. The online poker giant will be hosting a series of 34 events with a guaranteed prize pool of £11.5 million.
A different Full Tilt poker pro will present each evening. Kicking off the tournament, the first event - a $200 no limit Hold’em - was hosted by the John Racener, who came second in the WSOP Main Event over the weekend.
The buy-ins for the various competitions vary from $100 up to $2,000 and include the whole range of games from Texas Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha to Razz and HORSE. There will also be a number of different poker formats such as rush poker, knockouts and six-handed events. Perhaps the only problem is that for European players, play kicks-off online each night at 2 am (GMT), making this game one for the night owls.
Two of the events that poker fans should look out for are on the 20th of November when event Number 29 kicks off - a two day competition, $2,100 buy-in with a guaranteed $2 million prize pool, and also the grand finale on Sunday 21st of November, which is a Gus Henson hosted no limit Hold’em event with a $640 buy-in and a $3 million prize pool.
Those who are interested but cannot afford the buy-ins can compete in the many satellite tournaments that are being run online around the clock, and Full Tilt has announced that a miniFTOPS will be run between the 8th and the 19th of December, which will cost a tenth of the main FTOPS.
