McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton believes he still has a chance to take the Formula 1 world title with just two races of the season remaining.

Currently 21 points behind championship leader Fernando Alonso and sitting in third place Hamilton believes that having to come from behind on the leader board could work to his advantage.

In an interview with the BBC Hamilton said, “I’m going into these last two to give it my all and I do believe I can win it. My team know that I never give up and I feel that transcends through the whole team. We are still in the fight for the last two races. It’s still possible.”

Mark Webber, currently in second place, also is positive about his chances both this weekend and for the championship as a whole. Speaking about this weekends Brazilian Grand Prix Webber has said.

“Brazil is one of the best tracks of the year in terms of the atmosphere. The Brazilians are fully into their motorsport and have had a lot of world champions in the past.”

“I obviously have a lot of good memories from there from last year – it was a nice race to win, and we will clearly be trying to get another victory this year. It’s now coming to a pivotal stage of the championship, and we need to make the most of every opportunity we can”

Currently bookmakers are offering odds of 2/1 for Sebastian Vettel to win this week’s vital race, with Webber on 9/4, Alonso on 7/2 and Hamilton on 5/1.
