Many people like a gamble on the lottery and especially when the stakes are prizes is as high as the last Euromillion draw. There have been speculation over the last twelve days as to where the latest winner is after the huge jackpot still remains unclaimed. A seventy year old pensioner from Coventry believes that she had the winning ticket and been left wondering where she stands after her husband throw the winning numbers away.

The unnamed woman of Irish descent discovered that her numbers matched the winning lottery draw for the massive £113 million Euromillions last week. When she asked her husband where the ticket was he admitted to having “binned it.”

“I checked my notepad where I write down my lottery numbers every week after I read in the paper that the winning ticket was bought in Coventry.”

“I couldn’t believe it when my numbers matched the winning ones, I told my husband to get the lottery ticket to double check, but that is when he told me he had binned it,” she said.

The couple have contacted Camelot, who are at present looking into the claim. Spokesperson, Simon Horne said they could not disclose whether it was the store in Earlsdon, Coventry where the lady believes she got the ticket but if nothing is confirmed by Friday they will check CCTV footage and disclose the location to clear the matter up once and for all.
