Weekend Premier League Action

The Europa League fixtures can have done nothing but buoyed teams hunger for competition on Saturday in the Premier League. Liverpool after their dour match in Naples can only be pleased to take a point away from home and maybe put the same preparation into their next match.

Spurs are also bound to be happy by the extra gear they found against Inter Milan midweek and betting gives them the odds on this weekends encounter against Everton. The Merseyside outfit have had a disjointed season and betting on them can be a difficult call.

Blackpool should struggle against Birmingham on Saturday with home advantage but you can never tell with some visiting sides. The Midlanders are 10/11 clear favourites to take the game, while you can bet Blackpool at 3/1 odds.

With bookmakers giving Wolves a 20/1 chance against Chelsea there seems to be only one clear choice in this match. The result could depend as much on whether McCarthy decides it’s a forgone conclusion and risks a weaker side.

The Sunderland, Villa match looks the most difficult to call. Sunderland are being given a slight edge by the bookmakers after their 0-0 draw with Chelsea but this game could go either way.

The Baggies, Fulham game is another tight call but the safe money is going on a West Brom win at 23/20 but you can still get good odds on Fulham at 12/5 and with a match that experts feel is this close you never know on the day. The West Ham, Newcastle match is another bet were home advantage is getting the nod, with the Hammers expected to take this one.
